TERMS OF USE.
These terms govern the POKKIO app, the Discover catalogue, notifications and support website. Save a copy if you want to retain the version in force when you install the app.
Effective 19 October 2026
1. Provider and contact details
POKKIO is owned and provided by:
Studio Kreatywne Mateusz Pawlukul. Leśna 12, 84-353 Mosty, Poland
Polish tax ID (NIP): 8393015674
+48 500 591 594
kontakt@pawlukstudio.pl
These terms are available free of charge in a form that can be saved and printed.
2. Services
POKKIO is an iOS app that organises a library of games and shortcuts, runs supported user-supplied files through integrated engines, opens lawful external services and provides a controller-friendly interface. The Discover catalogue presents tested integrations and required file versions. Optional notifications announce new catalogue items.
POKKIO does not sell, supply or download commercial game or BIOS files. Demonstration material clearly identified as homebrew is a separate file made available lawfully.
3. Starting and ending the agreement
An agreement for the free electronic services begins when you start using the app, website, catalogue or notifications. You may end it at any time by stopping use, deleting the app and disabling notifications. Disabling notifications removes the server registration.
If a version or feature has a price, Apple displays the price and payment conditions before purchase. Apple handles payment and refunds under App Store rules, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
4. Technical requirements
You need a compatible Apple device, a supported iOS version, sufficient storage and an installation from a lawful source. Internet access is required for the catalogue, App Store search, notifications, cloud services and updates. Play from a local file may work offline, depending on the engine and game.
Some features require a compatible controller, Bluetooth, camera, motion sensors, a BIOS file, a particular game release, a third-party service or JIT. The app describes a requirement when it applies.
5. Files and user responsibilities
You may add only files that you have the right to use. You are responsible for lawfully obtaining and using game files, BIOS files, artwork, shortcuts and links. You must not use POKKIO to infringe copyright, bypass protection, distribute unlawful material, attack or disrupt services, or break the law.
Do not send game or BIOS files in a support request. We may decline support for a file or configuration where there is a reasonable concern about legality or security.
6. Local data and backups
Your library, files and saves are generally held on your device. You are responsible for backups. A library export does not include game files or saves unless the app clearly says otherwise. Deleting the app, device failure or a damaged file may result in data loss.
7. Third-party services and licences
The App Store, Apple Push Notification service, Xbox Cloud Gaming, websites, external engines and libraries are also subject to their operators’ terms and applicable licences. Emulation component licence information is available in the app. POKKIO does not guarantee that a third-party service will remain available and does not receive sign-in credentials for those services.
8. Updates and availability
We may develop, fix, limit or remove features for valid reasons, including security, legal changes, Apple requirements, technical compatibility or the closure of an external service. Where law requires updates needed to keep a service in conformity with the agreement, we will provide them as required by law.
Not every game, file revision, controller or device will be compatible. Compatibility statements apply to the identified app version and may change after an operating system or third-party service update.
9. Complaints and support
Send a complaint or support request to kontakt@pawlukstudio.pl. Include a description, app version, device model and a way to reply. Do not send game files, BIOS files, passwords or unrelated personal data.
We will answer a consumer complaint within 14 days after receipt. POKKIO does not restrict mandatory rights relating to lack of conformity of digital content or services, or any other non-waivable consumer rights.
10. Liability
We are liable as required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded for a consumer. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by unlawful files, failure to meet technical requirements, a third-party operator’s changes or the user’s failure to keep a backup.
11. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms for a valid reason, such as a change in law, functionality, distribution model, security or provider details. A revised version will be published with its effective date. A change will not remove rights already acquired by a consumer.
Polish law governs these terms. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence. A dispute may be heard by a court with jurisdiction or, if both sides agree, through an available alternative dispute resolution procedure.
